Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a solid powdery cosmetic capable imparting waterresistance and oil resistance to a cosmetic film without deteriorating the usability in wet state and dry state by compounding a fluorine-based oil, a specific polyhydric alcohol, a nonionic surfactant and cosmetic powder at specific ratios.
CONSTITUTION: This solid powdery cosmetic usable in wet state as well as dry state is produced by combining 0.1-12wt.% of a fluorinebased oil of formula (R1 to R5 are F, a perfluoroalkyl or an oxyperfluoroalkyl; p to r are an integer of ≥0 to give a molecular weight of 500-100,000l p, q and r are not 0 at the same time), 0.1-3wt.% of a polyhydric alcohol having ≥2 OH groups in one molecule, 0.01-2 pts.wt. of a nonionic surfactant and powder for cosmetic use. The fluorine-based oil is e.g. Fonbrin HC-25 (product of Montefroth Co.), the polyhydric alcohol is glycerol, propylene glycol, etc., the nonionic surfactant is polyoxyethylene sorbitan monooleate, etc., and the cosmetic powder is talc, sericite, etc. The cosmetic is easily transferable to an application tool in wet state and uniformly dispersible in water.
