PURPOSE: To uniformly control the turning ability of a vehicle by allocating a control pressure to front and rear wheel side hydraulic support means in accordance with a deviation between a calculated yaw rate which is obtained from a turn angle of a steering wheel and a vehicle speed, and an actual yaw rate.
CONSTITUTION: A suspension spring 13 in a suspension unit 12 and a hydraulic actuator 14 are disposed between a vehicle body 7 and a wheel 8. Further, a control valve 17 in the suspension unit 12 is disposes between an oil passage 16 communicated to a hydraulic chamber 15 in an hydraulic actuator 14, and a supply oil passage 14 and a discharge oil passage 6, and is adapted to be controlled by a controller 30 which receives detection signals from a lateral G sensor 31, a vehicle height sensor 32, a steering wheel turn sensor 33, a vehicle speed sensor 34 and a yaw rate sensor 35. In this case, a control pressure is allocated to front and rear suspension units 12 in accordance with a deviation between a calculated yaw rate obtained from a steered angle and a vehicle speed and an actual yaw rate detected by the sensor 35.
