To provide an on-vehicle apparatus operating device which improves an operating property of an on-vehicle apparatus.
An operating intention of an occupant is detected and a palm rest 30 is displaced to a using position when the occupant shows the operating intention to operate a dial switch 18 to operate the on-vehicle apparatus 104 on this on-vehicle apparatus operating device 10. Consequently, the palm rest 30 is already set in a state free to support a hand when the occupant actually starts to operate the dial switch 18 and accordingly, a burden of the hand is reduced when the occupant has the hand supported on the palm rest 30. As a result, the operating property of the on-vehicle apparatus 104 is improved.
