To disperse an impact load to right and left front side frames when the central portion in a vehicle width direction collides with an obstacle such as a pole not having a width extending in the vehicle width direction, and to suppress a power plant from moving rearward.
Upper and lower wires 60, 62 are stretched over the power plant 40 including a transverse-mounted reciprocal multiple cylinder engine 20. Right and left front ends of the upper and lower wires 60, 62 are fixed on the front ends of the right and left front side frames 10. A sub frame 16 extending in a vehicle width direction is fastened with the front end portions of the front side frames 10 using a long bolt 36. The upper/lower wires 60, 62 are coupled with the long bolt 36. The upper wire 60 is disposed above the front side frame 10, and the lower wire 62 is disposed below the front side frame 10.
