Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively absorb collision energy in a vehicle body front structure.SOLUTION: A vehicle front structure comprises: a front bumper member 11 extending in a vehicle body width direction; an elastic member 14 which is formed into a circular arc shape projecting on the rear side of a vehicle body and whose both ends are fixed to the rear side face of the vehicle body of the front bumper member 11; and a holding member 15 which is provided to vehicle body lower frames 2, 3 to hold the elastic member 14 so as to be slidably movable in a circular arc direction. The elastic member 14 deforms to make the front bumper member 11 move to the rear side of the vehicle body accompanied with frontal collision with a collision body, and the elastic member 14 slidably moves in the circular arc direction accompanied with off-set collision with the collision body to turn the front bumper member 11.
