To adjust a vertical position of a bumper reinforcement by a common member for a plurality of models of vehicles having different heights by using a common base frame.
Vertical dimensions of a set plate 13 joined to a front side frame end 5a and a side frame end are made to be larger than a connecting portion 12 of the bumper reinforcement 10. On the set plate 13, one set of upper side selecting bolt holes 13a joining the connecting portion 12 of the bumper reinforcement5 10 on an upper part thereof, and one set of lower side selecting bolt holes 13b joining the connecting portion 12 to a lower part thereof are provided. The front end of a side frame reinforcement 15 extending in a fore-and-aft direction and expanding in the vertical dimensions toward a rear side is joined with the set plate 13 so as to face the rear end of the connecting portion 12, and the rear portion is joined with a front side frame 5.
