Abstract:
To provide a vehicle body structure suppressing vehicle cabin deformation upon a small overlap offset collision, and suppressing an increase in weight.SOLUTION: A vehicle body structure 1 is equipped with an axial force transmission member 110 that is fixed to a joint portion of an upper frame 70 and a coupling structure 80 at a front end portion 111, and disposes a rear end portion 112 adjacent to a front surface portion of a front pillar lower 10, and deformation inducing portions 121 and 122 that couple an intermediate portion of the axial force transmission member and an inner surface 72 in one side area relative to the axial force transmission member in the upper frame, separates from an inner surface in the other side area than the axial force transmission member, and induces the deformation of an outer surface in the one side area of the upper frame according to the input of axial force to the axial force transmission member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
