Abstract:

To realize torque control for wheels by simple arithmetic processing with no yaw rate nor slip angular velocity sensor.

This electric vehicle includes: a plurality of wheels disposed as a pair on the right and left of a vehicle body; a rotational speed sensor for detecting the rotational speed of each of the wheels; a steering angle sensor for detecting a steering angle of a vehicle; and a controller 30. The controller 30 determines whether or not each of the wheels slips, based on respective reference torques given to the respective wheels and, if any wheel slips, a torque of at least either of the wheel disposed as a pair with the slipping wheel or the slipping wheels is reduced.
