Abstract:
The present invention provides an HUD device having a high display effect, which makes it possible to clearly recognize a displayed image, and which causes a plurality of images to have peculialities. An HUD device 1 is provided with an image display unit 2 for displaying an image, and an optical system 3 for projecting image light of the displayed image onto a windshield WS, and enables a virtual image I of the image to be visually recognized using light reflected by the windshield WS. The image display unit 2 is provided with a first image display means 21 and a second image display means 22, and the optical system 3 is provided with a half mirror 30 that transmits first image light L1 and reflects second image light L2. The HUD device is further provided with a display control means 4 for independently controlling the first image display means 21 and the second image display means 22.
