PURPOSE: To reduce the size and weight of a driving apparatus by a method wherein a rotating force inputted to an input shaft is transmitted through an output shaft which is provided on the same side as the input shaft to perform the drive control of a load output while a drive torque and a revolution are controlled by the driving apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: A driving apparatus 100 has a revolution regulating unit 1200, a torque regulating unit 1400 and a decelerating unit 800. The rotating force of an output shaft 110 is transmitted to the shaft 1213 of a T-S converter 1000 through a serration 1332a and transmitted to a first rotor 1210 as a rotating force. The rotating force is converted into an electromagnetic force and transmitted to a second rotor 1310. An electromagnetic force from a stator 1410 is added to the electromagnetic force and the resultant force is transmitted to the output side as a rotating force through the serration 1332a of a rotor frame 1332 and the decelerating unit 800. After that, a torque and a revolution produced between the first rotor 1210 and the second rotor 1310 are controlled. As a result, a rotation energy can be partially transmitted directly to the running side through the electromagnetic force, so that the size and weight of the apparatus can be reduced.
