Abstract:
To provide a drive support device of a vehicle for eliminating the erroneous pedaling of a brake pedal and an accelerator pedal, and properly performing a drive support.SOLUTION: A drive support device of a vehicle comprises a control part 30 for setting an optimum speed and the optimum acceleration of a vehicle 1, and making the vehicle travel by accelerating the vehicle to the optimum speed by the optimum acceleration, and a detection part 20 for detecting the presence or absence of an intention for accelerating the vehicle by the presence or absence of an operation of the vehicle by a driver. When there is an operation of the detection part, the control part permits changeover to acceleration by an operation of an accelerator pedal 12 of the vehicle from acceleration by the optimum acceleration, accelerates the vehicle according to the operation of the accelerator pedal while the operation of the detection part is continued, and when there is no operation of the detection part, accelerates the vehicle by the optimum acceleration without permitting the changeover.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
