Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle electronic control device which suitably manage the execution of a scheduled task.SOLUTION: An on-vehicle electronic control device calculates a remaining time X after a current time up to a time at which a scheduled task is succeedingly started (S404) after executing indispensable processing A out of the processing A, B and C of the scheduled task which is started at a prescribed time interval (S400), and calculates an execution time Z at which a host task which is superordinate in priority rather than the scheduled task is executed during the remaining time X (S408, S410 and S412). The on-vehicle electronic control device calculates a difference (X-Z) between the remaining time X and the execution time Z as an executable time of the scheduled task, and determines whether or not the processing B out of the processing B, C should be executed on the basis of the executable time (S414). The on-vehicle electronic control device manages the execution of the processing B on the basis of a determination result of S414 (S416, S418).
