Abstract:
To make it unnecessary for a user himself or herself to specially operate a portable telephone set while making the most of the portable telephone set in a remote control device for a vehicle.
Authentication data are preliminarily stored in a portable telephone set 2. When any person near a vehicle is detected by an on-vehicle human sensor 12, a vehicle station 1 starts communication with the portable telephone set 2, and collates the authentication data, and automatically performs various vehicle operations such as the unlocking of a vehicle door, the setting of an in-vehicle environment, and the start of an engine or the like.
