Title:
VEHICLE HEIGHT ADJUSTING ROLL CONTROLLER FOR VEHICLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS62299416
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve the roll control performance under transient turning, by obtaining the variation of vehicle height due to the turning on the basis of a differential pressure between the working fluid chambers of right and left actuators and correcting a vehicle height adjusting signal which is determined by a deviation of an actual vehicle height from a target vehicle height for producing a reverse roll. CONSTITUTION:When vehicle heights 87-90, differential pressure 138, 140 of actuators, a steering angle 113, a steering angle speed 114 and a vehicle speed 115 are fed to a controller 102, a target vehicle height for producing a reverse roll is determined based upon the steering angle 113 and the vehicle speed 115 so as to adjust the vehicle height based upon the deviations from the actual vehicle heights 87-90. Under a transient turning where the steering angle 113 varies, the variation of the vehicle height is anticipated based upon the differential pressure 138, 140 between a pair of actuators and a cylinder chamber so as to correct a vehicle height adjusting signal based upon the deviations of the actual vehicle heights 87-90 from the target vehicle height thus producing a vehicle height control signal. With such arrangement, the roll control performance can be improved even under a transient turning.
