Abstract:
To provide a vehicle information presentation method and a vehicle information presentation apparatus that predict an occurrence of an initial symptom of a malfunction of a vehicle while the vehicle is asymptomatic and notify a user of the occurence.SOLUTION: A vehicle information presentation apparatus 10 acquires malfunction information of a vehicle including symptom information indicating that at least one symptom among a sound, a vibration, a temperature, and a smell different from at the time of a normal traveling state of the vehicle occurs, component information of a component having the symptom occurring, and traveling state information of the vehicle when the symptom occurs, specifies a symptom occurrence range where the symptom occurs based on the malfunction information, sets a predicted symptom occurrence range where the symptom is predicted to occur in a target vehicle based on the specified symptom occurrence range when an abnormality in the target vehicle having no symptom occurring is detected, generates symptom occurrence information for notifying of the predicted symptom occurrence range, and transmits the symptom occurrence information to an external apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
