Abstract:
To provide a vehicle-mounted receiver or a vehicle-mounted system which prevents a battery from dissipating its power and increase the opportunity to update a software.
The vehicle-mounted receiver 100 downloads a software, utilizing broadcast waves and uses a controller 5 for determining the receiving condition when parking a vehicle and controlling to set the download operation in a disabled state, if the determined receiving condition is not good. Thus a useless download operation is not executed during parking in a bad receiving condition of broadcast waves.
