To provide a vehicle safety management device capable of urging an occupant to assume a safe riding position.SOLUTION: A safety management device mounted on a vehicle comprises: an occupant information detection unit which detects occupant state information about a riding state of an occupant in a vehicle; a memory which stores the occupant state information; and a processor which executes safety management control providing safety management with respect to the riding position of the occupant on the basis of the occupant state information. In the safety management control, the processor executes: a position determination process to determine whether the occupant assumes a safe riding position in the vehicle on the basis of the occupant state information; a notification process to urge the occupant to assume a safe position when the riding position of the occupant is determined not to be safe in the position determination process; and an incentive provision process to provide the occupant with an incentive when the riding position of the occupant after the notification process is determined to be safe in the position determination processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
