To provide a vehicle sharing system which can effectively eliminate the inconvenience of traffic facilities with least number of sharing vehicles and in consideration of the convenience of users by relocating a selected vehicle at a 1st port when the vehicle belongs to a vehicle retrieval group of a 2nd port.
When a vehicle arrives at a port, an attendant drives a 1st vehicle 230. A 2nd vehicle 234 is attached to the vehicle 230 via a traction means 236 and drawn after the vehicle 230. A connection tool can be placed at the front or rear part of a sharing vehicle (e.g., the vehicle 230 or 234) for attaching the means 236. Thus, it is possible to connect in series plural vehicles of the same types and to relocate these connected vehicles from a port to another. Meanwhile, a motor scooter 240 is attached to the vehicle 234 via a lift mechanism 242. Then an attendant detaches the scooter 240 from the vehicle 234 at a destination port and can return to his/her own port by the scooter 240.
