Abstract:
To reduce the number of parts, weight and assembly labor of a vehicle side door.SOLUTION: In an area adjacent to a window opening 9 of an inner panel 5 from lower sides, a step-down wall part 5q located outside the vehicle front and rear edges of the window opening 9 of the inner panel 5 is formed. A part of the step-down wall part 5q is brought into contact with an outer panel 3 from inside of the vehicle. A carrier panel 21 is attached to the inner panel 5 so as to cover the step-down wall part 5q from inside of the vehicle. Under open state where a window panel 37 is located at an open position, the step-down wall part 5q faces the window panel 37 from outside of the vehicle, and an area of the window panel 37 facing the step-down wall part 5q is covered by the carrier panel 21 from the inside of the vehicle.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
