PURPOSE: To provide a vehicle suspension device making it easier to get on and off a vehicle through lowering of a floor position and being conveniently usable through an increase in floor width.

CONSTITUTION: This device includes shock absorbers 1, 1' arranged horizontally beneath a vehicle body 2, a pair of control arms 10, 10' connected to the shock absorbers 1, 1', and torsion bars 20, 20 connected to the middle portions of the control arms. The vertical portions of the control bars 10, 10' are connected to the shock absorbers and the horizontal portions of the control bars 10, 10' which form a predetermined angle to the vertical portions are connected to wheel carriers. This arrangement allows vertical vibrations to be absorbed horizontally by the shock absorbers 1, 1'.
