Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mud eliminator for a vehicle tire, capable of being installed in a less-limited space and efficiently removing mud without spreading dust and requiring a great quantity of washing water. SOLUTION: The mud eliminator A having a move-in slope B1 connected thereto at the rear side and a move-out slope B2 connected thereto at the front side comprises a plurality of protruded strips 5 arranged on the outer peripheries of rollers 1a, 1b spaced a short distance to a longitudinal direction and opposed to each other, extending from both ends to a central portion thereof in the form of gentle transition to the direction of passage of a vehicle 15, to form a centering mechanism, elastic blades 7 erected on a slider mechanism 6 laterally provided between the rollers 1a, 1b, water injection pipes 10 having water injection holes 11, laterally provided at front side lower portions of the elastic blades 7, and a pump mechanism 12 to be driven with the rotation of the rear rollers 1a in linkage with a tire 16 of the passing vehicle 15, with a discharge port conducting to the starting ends of the water injection pipes 10.
