Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve safety in backward travelling by permitting automatically constant vehicle speed travelling when a transmission is changed over to the backing. CONSTITUTION:In forward travelling where a forward-backward change-over lever 54 is turned forward, a switch 78 of a backing judging unit 74 is turned off so that one input end of AND circuit 96 is always on L level. Thus, the output of AND circuit 96 reaches L level and an angle delaying circuit 114 becomes inoperative. Thus, a thyristor 112 is ignited at a regular timing on the basis of the output of a pulser coil 108 and vehicle speed is controlled by a throttle lever 130. In backing, the switch 78 is turned on and one input of AND circuit reaches H level. Hence, the angle delaying circuit 114 is operated to delay the igniting angle of the thyristor and reduce the output of an engine.
