Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost of a vehicle yawing control device by simplifying the structure of a fluid pressure brake circuit in the device. SOLUTION: If the running condition of a vehicle is estimated to have entered a drift-out state while the vehicle is turning to the right, the torques of the right and left front wheels 10, 12 and the right rear wheel 50 which is the turning inner wheel are controlled. The torques of the right and left front wheels 10, 12 are controlled by controlling electric motors 16, 18, while the torque of the right rear wheel 50 is controlled by controlling the fluid pressure of a wheel cylinder 53. Thus, since the fluid pressures of wheel cylinders 24, 22 need not be controlled in controlling the torques of the right and left front wheels 10, 12, the structure of a fluid pressure brake circuit can be simplified correspondingly, and the cost of a vehicle yawing control device can be reduced.
