This vehicle 100 is provided with a pedal mechanism 140 for changing a foot step reciprocating motion into a rotary motion around a horizontal shaft A1, a first power transmission mechanism 150 for converting rotation around the horizontal shaft A1 into rotation around a vertical shaft B1, a second power transmission mechanism 160 for changing rotation around the vertical shaft B1 into rotation around a horizontal shaft A2, a driving wheel 130 making the horizontal shaft A2 as a rotary shaft, a steering mechanism 170 for rotating the horizontal shaft A2 around the vertical shaft B1 and passive wheels 121 and 122 for supporting self weight of the vehicle 100 together with the driving wheel 130. As a result, a structure in which the driving wheel 130 and the passive wheels 121 and 122 are arranged side by side but the pedal mechanism 140 is arranged on upper portions of the driving wheel 130 and the passive wheels 121 and 122 can be made. Further, the structure in which the pedal mechanism 140, the first power transmission mechanism 150, the second power transmission mechanism 160 and a part of the steering mechanism 170 are integrated can be made, and thereby the compact and highly stable vehicle capable of being moved by pedaling can be made.
