Abstract:
To suppress the occurrence of such a condition that an auxiliary-equipment battery of a vehicle is overcharged by the operation of an external power supply while the external power supply is connected to the vehicle.SOLUTION: A vehicle comprises: an electric power storage device storing power for generating drive force for the vehicle; an auxiliary-equipment battery storing power for operating auxiliary equipment of the vehicle; a power supply port; a relay provided in an electric path between the power supply port and auxiliary-equipment battery; and a control device controlling the relay. An external power supply operates with power of the auxiliary-equipment battery of the vehicle and supplies an external load with power of the electric power storage device of the vehicle while the external power supply is connected to the power supply port of the electric power storage device of the vehicle. The control device of the vehicle opens the relay to thereby stop power supply from the auxiliary-equipment battery to the external power supply when a voltage of the auxiliary-equipment battery is lower than a predetermined threshold while the external power supply is connected to the power supply port of the vehicle (i.e., while the external power supply is supplied with power from the auxiliary-equipment battery).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
