Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle interior component excellent in design, while suppressing damage to a light guide member.SOLUTION: A vehicle interior component 30 includes: a longitudinal light guide member 50; a transparent longitudinal cylindrical body 41 including a hollow part 41a therein into which the light guide member 50 is inserted; and a pair of skin materials 20 and 20 arranged in a way that their ends 23 and 23 abut each other with the cylindrical body 41 interposed therebetween, and their design surfaces 22 and 22 face the cabin interior. The cylindrical body 41 includes a light-emission part 42 arranged on the rear surface 24 side of the skin material 20, extended integrally on the outside of the cylindrical body 41 so as to be exposed to the cabin interior from between the ends 23 and 23 of the skin materials 20 and 20, for emitting light from the light guide member 50 to the cabin interior.
