Abstract:
To prevent a vehicle from traveling with the cap of its fuel tank being detached by automatically detecting that the cap is left detached.
A cap 20 for a fuel tank is provided with a metallic member 7, and the fuel tank is provided with a coil 1 so that the metallic member 7 comes to affect the inductance of the coil 1 when the cap 20 is attached to the fuel tank. A variation in the oscillating state of the oscillating circuit is detected by a variation in the inductance of the coil 1 and is then outputted to the vehicle.
