Abstract:
To provide a vehicular illumination device capable of suppressing degradation of brightness of illumination and efficiently illuminating a road surface related to getting-on/getting-off.
The vehicular illumination device 10 is provided on a center portion in the vertical direction of a rear side molding 12 attached to a lower portion of an outer surface of a rear side door 11. A prism lens 24 to refract the optical path of the light from the vehicular illumination device 10 to the outer side of a vehicular body is provided on a lower end portion of the rear side molding 12. The light refracted by the prism lens 24 is irradiated on a part separated by the predetermined distance from a road surface immediately below a front side door 13.
