Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively absorb impact energy.SOLUTION: In a vehicular pop-up hood device, a first arm 40 is rotatably coupled to a hinge base, and a second arm 50 is fixed on a hood. A bolt 82 fixed to the first arm 40 is screwed with a nut 88 fixed to the second arm 50, and the second arm 50 is coupled to the first arm 40 so as to relatively rotate. When an actuator is actuated, if the second arm 50 relatively rotates to an upper side to the first arm 40, the first arm 40 and the second arm 50 are fastened by the bolt 82 and the nut 88, and the second arm 50 is held at a lifting position. On the other hand, if a predetermined impact load downward is inputted in the second arm 50, releasing torque is acted between the bolt 82 and the nut 88, thereby releasing a fastening state of the first arm 40 and the second arm 50. Therefore, the impact energy is used as the releasing torque to absorb the impact energy.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
