Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust a longitudinal position of a seat main body by the use of a sliding mechanism even under a swing-locked state by unlocking a swing lock mechanism interlockingly with displacement of the seat main body at the starting time of swinging, and locking the mechanism interlockingly the displacement at the completion of the swinging.
SOLUTION: When swinging of a seat main body 10 is started to an external side of a room, a swing lock mechanism 20 is interlockingly unlocked. When the seat is reset to the original position, the mechanism is automatically locked at a final stage. A lock plate 21 performing such swing lock is attached to a seat holder 9. A lock holder 25 is attached to a swing base 7. They are operated by the use of swinging motion. Swinging motion of a vehicular seat 1 is locked and unlocked irrespective of the sliding position in a widthwise direction. The seat main body 10 can be adjusted in its longitudinal direction when a driver is normally seated, by the use of longitudinal sliding rails 2, 2 and widthwise sliding rails 6, 6.
