To provide a general-purpose type of window glass capable of being disconnected from the inside of a vehicle without any damage to the bond strength thereof.
Vehicular window glass to be bonded and secured has a U-shaped contour part 3 including a channel type indent, and the side web of the glass has a pushing profile frame with a fixing projection. Also, an adhesive composition 16 is introduced into the channel type intent. The cured adhesive composition 16 and the contour part 3 in this case are not bonded to each other, but the connection thereof takes place only as a mechanical interlock. Also, a flexible cord 10 is laid on the bottom of the channel type indent, so as to easily and quickly push out the window glass from the inside in an emergency. According to this construction, the mechanical interlock can be released more easily by pulling out the cord 10.
