PURPOSE: To finely and stably carry out ventilation control by editing a previously stored rule base for the ventilation control, and by carrying out control inference in view of the measured value of a contaminated concentration, so as to compute a ventilation controlled variable.
CONSTITUTION: Measured values obtained from CO meters 4a, 4b and VI meters 5a to 5d, which are located in a tunnel, are fetched in a ventilation control inference means 23. A ventilation control rule previously stored in a rule base storage means 22 is edited by a rule base editor means 21 through the manipulation of an input/output device 30 and is then delivered to the ventilation control inference means 23. Accordingly, a signal required for exhaust control is inferred, and the air volume of an exhaust blower is controlled through the intermediary of a contamination concentration control and output means 24 and an exhaust blower volume control and output device 25. Furthermore, a jet fan number control and output means 24 instructs the number of the jet fans according to measured values from wind velocity meters 6a, 6b and a signal from the ventilation control inference means 23.
