Abstract:
To provide technology for verifying the validity of a public key certificate on-line without requiring a large quantity of resources.
An IC card 20a obtains an attribute certificate Aa corresponding to the public key certificate Ca from an AA server device 40 and writes the certificate Aa in its own rewritable area. The IC card 20a transmits the public key certificate Ca and attribute certificate Aa to a mobile terminal 10b. An IC card 20b receives the public key certificate Ca and attribute certificate Aa and verifies the validity of the public key certificate Ca by using a term of validity recorded on the received attribute certificate Aa.
