Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a kettle of a sewing machine, which stabilizes the tension of a bobbin thread and prevents tightness of the thread from varying and improves the quality and further increases the quantity of the bobbin thread.
SOLUTION: The axial line L2 of an inner kettle 30 is inclined against the rotary axial line L1 of an outer kettle 34 so that the loose end 28 of a bobbin 40 separates from the transfer pass of a needle 29 and one 97a of flanges arranged at the bottom wall side in the inner kettle 30 is made to have a large diameter and the other flange 97b is made to have a smaller diameter. The flange 97a is elastically pressed by the peripheral wall 60 of a bobbin case 31 detachably set in the inner kettle 30 to hold the bobbin 60 in the inner kettle 30. The first space through which the bobbin thread can pass, is formed between the other flange 97b and the peripheral wall 60 of the bobbin case 31 and the second space 123 is formed between the other flange 97b and the end wall 61 to lead the bobbin thread 62 to the outside through the taking-out hole 70 of the bobbin thread, the first through hole, and the second through hole.
