The vertical holder is provided with a lever-like body 2, a horizontal fixed part 3 connected to one end 21 of the lever-like body 2 and fixed to the upper surface of the horizontal structural material 51 of a building unit 5, and a vertical fixed part 4 connected to the other end 22 of the lever-like body 2 and fixed to the inner surface of the vertical structural material 52 of the building unit 5. the horizontal fixed part 3 is fixed to the horizontal structural material 51 and the vertical fixed part 4 is fixed to the vertical structural material 52 to hold the crosswise joined state of the horizontal structural material 51 to the vertical structural material 52. The vertical fixed part 4 comprises a vertical contact member 4A fixed to the inner surface of the vertical structural material 52 and a vertical connection part 4B connected to the other end 22 side of the lever-like body 2. The lever-like body 2 is formed to be rotatable in the vertical and horizonal directions of the building unit 5 through the vertical connection part 4B relative to the vertical contact member 4A fixed to the specified position of the building unit 5.
