Abstract:

To provide a verticality control method for a mast for the demolition of a tower-like structure, which can simply and accurately maintain the degree of the verticality of the mast.

In this verticality control method for the mast, the masts 2 are erected around the tower-like structure 1 to be demolished, and the degree of the verticality of the mast 2 is adjusted by a verticality adjusting means. The verticality adjusting means 3 comprises: an optical verticality measuring instrument 3a for measuring the verticality, which is installed on the ground side of the lower section of the tower-like structure; a photodetector 3b for optical measurement, which is installed in a predetermined position in the state of facing the optical verticality measuring instrument on an almost horizontal ascending/descending stage 4 arranged on the upper section of the mast; a plurality of horizontal positioning devices 3c which are arranged in such a manner as to surround the tower-like structure on the ascending/descending stage and which adjust the horizontal position of the mast by abutting on the tower-like structure; and a controller 3d which is connected to the photodetector for optical measurement and the horizontal positioning devices.
