To provide a vessel preventing an explosion by mixture of flammable gas and air by considerably reducing the possibilities of leakage of flammable gas from the inside of a bulk cargo hold to a section adjacent to the bulk cargo hold from a weld joint part at an internal wall of the bulk cargo hold and the possibilities of entering of air from the adjacent section to the inside of the bulk cargo hold, in the vessel including the bulk cargo hold for storing solid materials generating flammable gas in bulk states.
In this vessel including the bulk cargo hold 10 for bulking the solid materials generating flammable gas, longitudinal bulkheads 11, 12, 13 and 14 provided in the longitudinal direction of the vessel constituting an inner wall of the bulk cargo hold 10 are formed by longitudinal passing plate members joined by using only a completely penetrated butt joint W1 without using a weld joint W2 by fillet-welding when connecting steel plates over the whole of a bulk cargo region provided with the bulk cargo hold 10.
