Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control damper capable of restricting adhesion of dust against a piston rod and further restricting leakage of working liquid from an outer circumferential surface of the piston rod.SOLUTION: A vibration control damper 10 includes a cylinder 12. A piston 16 is fixed to an outer circumferential surface of a piston rod 14 passing through the cylinder 12 in an axial direction. Brackets 20a, 20b supporting the piston rod 14 are arranged at an axial outside part of the cylinder 12 from the rod guides 18a, 18b which seal both ends of the cylinder 12 and through which the piston rod 14 passes. There are provided cover members 22a, 22b so as to prevent the sliding portions of at least rod guides 18a, 18b between the rod guides 18a, 18b and between the brackets 20a, 20b at the outer circumferential surface of the piston rod 14. The cover members 22a, 22b are contacted with at least the rod guides 18a, 18b of the outer circumferential surface of the piston rod 14 to enable working liquid to be held.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
