To enhance the quality of an output image by constituting a vibration control device of a fly wheel arranged so that it can be integrally rotated with a supporting shaft for rotating a photoreceptor, an elastic body fixed to the fly wheel by aligning the one-direction thereof with the tangent direction of a concentric circle to the supporting shaft and a mass body fixed to the other end part of the elastic body.
The supporting shaft 12 is fixed to the rotatably arranged photoreceptor 11 so that it can be integrally rotated. The extended part of the shaft 12 is provided with the fly wheel 16 so that it can be integrally rotated with the shaft 12. The elastic body is provided with elasticity at least in the one-direction thereof and fixed to the wheel 16 by aligning the one-direction thereof with the tangent direction of the concentric circle to the shaft 12. Besides, the mass body 23 is fixed to the other end part of the elastic body. Then, the vibration control device 1 is constituted of the wheel 16, the elastic body and the mass body 23. By the vibration control device 1, the fluctuation of the rotating speed of the photoreceptor 11 is minimized even when both of periodic or aperiodic force exerts on it.
