The external force from a vibration generating source is inhibited by controlling the operation of an engine mount 20 as a mount with a shaker installed on a vehicle, on the basis of a signal from an acceleration sensor 15 mounted on a steering position or a floor position of the vehicle when an engine speed of the vehicle is in an area of idling speed in an idling operation state of the engine. On the other hand, the external force from the vibration generating source is restrained by controlling the operation of the engine mount on the basis of a signal from a load sensor 13 mounted on an engine supporting part or its neighborhood when the engine speed is in an area of traveling engine speed in a traveling operation state of the engine.
