Abstract:
To provide a vibration damping device, in which constitution members can be reliably held.
A second bracket 14 of the vibration damping device 10 is connected with a vehicle body 16, and a leg part 50B provided to a cover body 50 is placed on the vehicle body 16 to make contact therewith. An outer mounting member 34 and the cover body 50 are held by being swaged by an edge of an annular part 60 of the second bracket 14, and since the leg part 50B supports a load even if the swaging part becomes incomplete, the outer mounting member 34 and the cover body 50 as constituent members of the vibration damping device 10 can be reliably supported.
