Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify an switching operation of an acting mode.
SOLUTION: A stoppers 47, 47 which can axially move back and forth is provided on the outer circumference of a cylindrical part 9a supporting a spindle 5. When a first change ring 32 for switching operation modes rotates, the stopper 47 is axially moved back and forth according to movement of a projection 49 formed on the first change ring 32. In a vibration mode and a drill mode, the stopper 47 controls forward movement of a flat washer 50 for fixing an internal gear 13 while keeping contact with the flat washer 50. In a clutch mode provided for the first change ring 32 as a third switching position, the stopper 47 is separated from the flat washer 50.
