Title:
VIBRATION-INSULATING DEVICE FOR PRINTER
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS61100485
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent vibrations generated from being transmitted to an installation place, by a construction wherein at least three spherical bodies are provided between a printer and an installation place so that they can roll in the region larger than the projected area of the spherical body on the printer side, the installation place side or both sides.

CONSTITUTION: The spherical bodies 3 are fitted to the installation place 7 so that they can rotate only on their own axes, and are smoothly rotated. Since each of the bodies 3 is loosely fitted in a spherical groove 4 provided in the lower surface of the printer 1 and makes a point contact, the rolling region of the body 3 is the spherical groove 4. Alternatively, a fitting plate 5 may be provided with dents similar to the grooves 5, and the spherical bodies 3 may be fitted into the dents 6, there fitting them to the place 7. Accordingly, though the vibration of the printer is transmitted to the spherical bodies, the bodies roll in the rolling regions, so that the vibration is absorbed by the rolling and is prevented from being transmitted to the installation place.
