PURPOSE: To apply the integrated formation of elastic rubber between inner and outer cylinders, and increase the multi-purpose application thereof by so making an elastic deformation part on the intermediate part of one side of the inner or outer cylinder as to contract and expand, depending upon the shape of a partner material where a vibration proof bush contacts.

CONSTITUTION: Elastic rubber 13 is inserted and fixed between the inner and outer cylinders 11 and 12 of a vibration proof bush 10, and an elastic deformation part 12a is formed approximately at the intermediate portion of the outer cylinder 12. The elastic deformation part 12a is so bent as to freely contract and expand in the lengthwise direction of the outer cylinder 12, depending upon the shape of a partner member where the outer cylinder 12 contacts. According to the aforesaid construction, it is possible to cope pertinently with the shape of a partner member contacted, when the vibration proof bush 10 is used, and the scope of the multi-purpose application of the bush 10 can be expanded.
