Title:
VIBRATORY TUMBLING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH02237761
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To well perform mixing and burnishing by providing a plurality of circumferential parallel troughs having bent material supporting surfaces arranged along the horizontal longitudinal axis, and making the center of gravity of a container eccentric from the longitudinal axis.

CONSTITUTION: A container 112 has the center of gravity eccentric from the longitudinal axis, and has a plurality of parallel troughs 200 extending along the longitudinal axes, having bent material supporting surfaces arranged on the circumference. The container 112 is resiliently attached to an attaching surface 128 by a resilient attaching means 130. Moreover, vibratory force 182 directed along a linear passage 180 eccentric not only from the longitudinal axis but also from the center of gravity of the container. Since the linear passage 180 for vibratory force passes the side of the center of gravity of the container, far from the longitudinal axis 139, rotation is generated along the passage on a part of a circle in respective positions of the bent material supporting surfaces. As a result, the materials in the container 112 are moved, conveyed, tumbled, and burnished.
