Abstract:
To provide a video display device that can reduce a visual load on a driver who views video.
When displaying video captured by a wide angle camera 2 to represent the surroundings of one's own vehicle on an on-vehicle display 3, a video processing device 1 inputs the speed of the vehicle, filters the video data captured by the wide angle camera 2 according to the vehicle speed to remove changing components high in time frequency representing temporal changes in pixel values or remove changing components low in time frequency representing temporal changes in pixel values, and displays the video data filtered in either manner on the on-vehicle display 3.
