PURPOSE: To improve the operability of selection of a video source or a effect image signal by allowing the device to have correspondence sufficiently for a broadcast program requiring a high response.

CONSTITUTION: Plural source display devices of a source display device group 3 are arranged corresponding to each of push buttons switches of push button switch group 1 and display a name of a video source or an effect image signal. A storage device 4 stores names of the video source or the effect image signals and changeover data to select the video source or the effect image signals with cross reference to each of the pushbutton switches. A changeover control circuit 5 controls the changeover of the changeover device 6 based on the changeover data read from the storage device 4 through the depression of the pushbutton switch. The changeover device 6 selects the video source or the effect image signals based on the control of a changeover control circuit 5. A mixer 8 mixes the video source or the effect image signals selected by the changeover device 6 based on the operation of a fader lever section 2 and provides an output of the result from an output terminal 9.
