Abstract:
PURPOSE: To allow the facsimile equipment to send/receive a moving image, to display a video image with reduction, to convert media and to simultaneously reproduce plural media of a same address.
CONSTITUTION: The video facsimile equipment 12 connecting to an ISDN 13 is provided with a communication control section 21 having an ISDN interface and a protocol controller, a signal processing section 22 applying compression expansion processing to a moving image and a still picture and an audio signal to be sent/received and having a DSP and a work memory capable of picture reduction processing, a main storage/control section 23 having a frame memory and an OS-ROM or the like storing information required for the processing and a CPU controlling the entire equipment, an auxiliary storage section 24 having a disk device making read/write of the sent/received signal, an input output control section 25 having a key pad and a liquid crystal display device and a terminal input output section 26 used to connect a VTR, a monitor television receiver, a handset, a cassette tape recorder, a printer section and an original read section or the like.
