Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video recording apparatus for OSD display of a user interface picture indicating a status of the apparatus corresponding to a user operation on a digital connected display device.
SOLUTION: The video recording apparatus is provided with a TS acquisition part 220 for acquiring a transport stream containing video data and data broadcast contents, a BML generating part 230 for generating status information describing the user interface picture in the same description form as the data broadcast contents, and a re-multiplexing part 240 for multiplexing the status information on the transport stream.
