Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the video scanner by which picture data corresponding to a picture element number of various video signal systems are obtained in a state without degraded picture quality.
CONSTITUTION: The scanner is provided with an optical lens section 1 forming an optical image of an original picture 2 on a position of a line image sensor 3 and an optical magnification means 9 varying the magnification of an optical image, the optical magnification means 9 generates an optical image coincident with a picture element number of various video signal systems and the line image sensor 3 reads the image in the range of the optical image.
